Yo guys, what's good?
Az here once again and today we are taking on the Summer Festa Core Raid.
Join me for an awesome and quick guide to beat Hard, Extreme and Special without any Fated Heroes.
Alright, so as mentioned we will challenge the 3 bosses without Fated Heroes.
I used Fate Core equipped Legendaries, but they are by no means mandatory.
You can do the same without any Fate Core or Fated, no worries.
The strategy is the same for all 3 difficulties.
I will mention this once, because that might not be obvious to everyone.
You will need your Burst Heroes at 6 star in order to make full use of their 10 Mana.
If you play for less than a month, you will have to go phase by phase, but it's pretty simple.
Go in with your strongest 5 fire heroes and clear break the boss.
Deal as much damage as you can until he goes into the Light stage.
End the fight there.
Do the same with Light and Frost and you should be able to do it in 3-7 Entries, depending on the difficulty and your damage.
Now to the fun part.
Strategy
We are making use of the break state, allowing us to skip the Light phase entirely.
If you have good enough equipment and good timing, you can clear even Special with one Entry.
I can already hear you saying: "What are you talking about Az?"
Simple. Instead of bringing healers, tanks, or anything that doesn't benefit our raw Damage output, we go full in on Fire.
I don't mean only fire Heroes. You can do it, but it would be better to have a strong burster like Astarte.
Teams
So the teams we are using follow this recipe. You want optimally 3-4 Heroes being Fire.
1 Mana Battery
3 Strong BURST capable Heroes
1 Damage over time hero
Here my team for better understanding:
Pan
Astarte, FC Annie, FC Otard
Corgi
As a Mana Battery Iris is better. If you have FC Iris, then this whole thing becomes a walk in the park.
As Bursters I recommend using Fire Heroes, but you could use almost anything with a high burst S2.
(FC) Scarlet
Kirina
*If you are using Iris or FC Iris, you will need 3 of your Heroes to be Fire.
And instead of Corgi you have to run Carlos, due to the 4 turn DoT.
Your strategy here is moving into the Break state after the enemies go.
If you move to early or to late, they will take up turns from the break, which ruins the strategy.
You don't have to kill them, but might need to auto into them once or twice, to ensure they won't get a turn during the break.
Important
Make sure that your Mana is full.
Transition into the Break state
Nuke as hard as you can
You should clear Fire and Light without Crits.
If you land a Crit with any of your bursters, you might be able to clear Frost as well or get close to half way through.
From here on out it's a race. Gain Mana as quickly as possible. Don't use anything besides auto attacks and your Mana Gain ability until your heroes have full Mana to burst.
I didn't bring Astarte for Glenn, but instead rolled with Deradan.
Even with that I almost killed him in one sweep.
If you check around the middle of the video, you can see that Yao was a "one entry clear".
I almost did the same with Bernadette, but did a mistake on the rotation and lost 1 of my burst. I still got her to around 5% HP and just had to clean up.
Clean up
Speaking about clean up.
It doens't matter what 5 Frost heroes you bring. Take the ones you have equipped and set it to auto. Even a weak frost team should be able to clear the last remaining 15% out, no problem.
I implore you to watch the video, just to see it in action. The Yao fight is the quickest one, so if you have a minute or two, just check that and there shouldn't be any questions left.
Gear
If you wonder what kind of gear I was using, you might be surprised.
Most of my heroes actually just use Legendary 30 gear.
Astarte (3 pieces) and Otard (2 pieces) have Fated weapons to increase their Crit and Annie just has a bottom row piece which doesn't matter.
If you need advice for gear here it goes.
Give your Bursters Fated gear on the top row. This increases their Crit and if they are fire also their Mana gain by extension.
I really hope you enjoyed this one.
If so, pop over to my youtube channel, leave a like or comment.
Since you are already there, why not subscribe. I make videos like these all the time and if you are on a budget, this might help you clear content, you previously got stuck on.
As always, it was a pleasure to have you here and I will see you in the next one.
Until then, enjoy the Grind.
