Yo guys, what's good?

Az here once again, and today we are taking you through Yupir's Lab Sky Path and Starry Corridor Maze 4.

This walk-through is meant for people who are either starting out or people who don't have a lot of strong Heroes yet.

Let's get into it.

Sky Path Maze 4

In this stage you will face Benten, a nature DPS Hero with Burst capability.

He hits extremely hard, so that is something you need to watch out for.

The stick here is that Benten can only be Damaged by Machine Heroes who deal magical Damage.

We have 6 in this category:

  • Deva - Definitely your strongest choice. She deals a good amount of damage and having an FC provides her with a good amount of stats. Given that the FC was a Reward for completing an event in the past, a lot of you might have it.

  • Zarienne - I featured her in a previous Maze walk-through. She is not that bad, having a 294% Piercing multiplier, which equal to around 420% regular Damage. You will need her in the Special Difficulty for Shelter of Avarice, so building her is definitely not a waste.

  • Bayer - He can work and would be my choice, if I didn't have Deva. His multipliers are lower than a regular Damage Dealer, because he has Damage over Time. Since you don't want to take too long in fighting Benten he would be the 3rd best pick. He is also used in the Special Difficulty for Shelter of Avarice, so you might already have him built.

  • Yorm - She is pretty good as breaker for Special Difficulty, however in Yupir's we don't have any breaks. Since her Damage is kinda on the low side, you would be better off with other options.

  • Ned - He is one of the Rare Hero choices you have. While weaker than Guy, due to their different types, Ned is used in a lot of Special Difficulty Dungeons as a mandatory Hero. You need to put some decent gear on him, otherwise he dies way to quickly.

  • Guy - The last Hero we can use. He has the better suited abilities, being able to increase his own Attack. He is fairly slow, so you will always eat Benten's damage, before he gets a turn. Easier to build, because he has better base stats than Ned.

For the rest of my team I brought 3 Front liners. I just happen to have the FC, but they are not mandatory at all. They give you some nice stat bonuses however, you can compensate that with Gear, besides the Health.

  • Kaya - She is a solid stable for all my "non-Fated" runs. Her healing capability is so strong and the fact that she doesn't need to attack, make her so valuable.

  • Lepin - I played around with Karin, but found that having a lower Mana cost revive would be better. Due to me using Degas as well, the blocks synergized very well with each other.

  • Degas - A rock solid tank choice. Being Frost means he gains Mana when blocking, which allows him to cast his share health frequently. This is helping out nicely to mitigate the damage you receive from Benten. He also gains a heal from his passive, when he provokes (doesn't work on Benten), which gives you more survivability.

From here it's an RNG game. If Benten drops your revive you are kinda SoL, unless you are already close to killing him.

I tried to manage my Mana as good as possible, to make sure I can heal and revive at any given point.

Starry Corridor Maze 4

This one is actually fairly simple.

Valentina gains Increased Attack every time you attack her. Because of that, you want to bring Heroes who can do something without actually attacking her.

I chose to bring to Mana Batteries and my beloved Kaya.

  • Iris - She is probably the best of the 3. Her non FC provides you with a Shield while giving Mana and her FC gives you 2 Mana.

  • Pan - He is used in Shelter of Avarice Special Difficulty, so building him up is not a bad choice.

  • Metron - His Mana gain ability is the most expensive at 3 Mana. Being Light and Chaos, he will also only gain additional Mana when he is attacking. I would not chose him, since we all have Iris and Pan is easily obtainable.

You also want to bring strong Bursters. These can be anything, however I would try to avoid Counter Attackers, since they will stack Valentina.

Good Choices would be:

  • Adams - With your Mana batteries he should consistently be able to use his burst, but be aware of the Counters.

  • Astarte - She has the highest consistent Burst potential, due to her incredible Mana gain.

  • Annie/FC Annie - FC Annie would be great, since she also makes sure your fastest unit crits. She is optimal, if you take something like Astarte or Adams.

  • Benten - Not a bad choice

  • Kirina - 840% multiplier, unfortunately no Burst. Still deals a good amount of Damage

  • Scarlet/FC Scarlet - Solid Burster

The general strategy is filling your Mana up as quickly as possible.

With Iris and Pan together, they should always be able to provide each other with the necessary Mana.

From then on you simple use your Bursters to kill Valentina.

Quick and easy, hopefully insightful.
