FC Reedmarie, the Black Fish Captain

Yo guys, what's good.

Az here, and today we will check out FC Reedmarie, the Black Fish Captain.

FC Reedmarie is a Legendary Frost Hero with a physical Attack type in the Chaos position. Fun fact. She is a dwarf. Check out her Story =)

Skills

Passive: Focussed Shot 2, marking the target with Focus fire, and decreasing Dodge/Block for 1 round on a basic attack.

She will gain 1 Mana, if the target dies, when the mark is on it.

She also has the Dragon Knight Blessing, increasing Damage during Phase 2 of the Dragon by 250%.

S1: Deals 262% damage to a single enemy and applies Frostbite, dealing additional 92% damage per round for 4 turns.

S2: She will attack all enemies, dealing 71% piercing damage. It also applies Frostbite for 2 turns, dealing 31% damage per turn.

Gear and Stats

With her being a DoT type, you want to create a balanced stat line.

I only equipped her with Legendary pieces at lvl 30.

Focus should lie on Attack, Attack Speed and due to her being the Frost type, block.

In this image you can see my current stats.

PVP

The FC is not useful in the current Meta and thus I will skip the PVP section.

I will mainly talk about her in the Special Dungeons, where I believe is her place to shine.

Strengths

The FC brings 2 DoTs with it, making it pretty easy to break targets.

Her S2 requires only 1 Mana, meaning you can use it constantly, after the first block occurred.

Being an AOE with a DoT all targets will be broken almost instantly.

Weaknesses

Her biggest weakness is definitely her stat line.

She shares the same stats with most other DoT Heroes, however those stats are fairly low.

In my opinion this is to compensate for the additional damage or break potential these Heroes provide.

She lacks in attack, and paired with fairly low multipliers, you want to rely mostly on her DoTs.

This Hero is probably the most "neutral" I have encountered.

Her low Mana cost, paired with her frost type make her optimal for a defensive team, but her low damage output make her seem weak.

However, that doesn't mean she is not special.

She is the only AoE dotter of the Frost Element, including all FCs.

Special Difficulty Dungeon

As mentioned earlier, you want to bring her with some defensive Heroes, to CC the enemy.

My team for the Blessing Dungeon Special Difficulty consist of Heroes I believe fit the bill well.

We have FC Lepin as our Healer and reviver, but Lepin would be perfectly fine as well.

Spica from a previous video, because she is one of the best CCs for Frost and deals a good amount of Damage.

The others are just the mandatory units.

Conclusion

She is excellent for Special Difficulty and the regular version is used for the Ancient Gold mine, in case you don't have Monica.

The FCs overall kit is way better suited for Special Difficulty, due to the spamability.

For Lunar & Solar Trade route, she can be extremely helpful, as long as you bring a reviver.

She might be able to take some Counters and Thrusts, but she will die.

However, the enemy will be disabled right after and you have a good chance to pick her up right away.

Being the only AOE dotter for Frost also makes her pretty valuable.

Unfortunately that's it. Outside of Special Dungeon you won't find a use for her.

In Shelter of Avarice you are better off using her non FC, due to it having 2 Single target attacks, one with a decent multiplier.

I wouldn't invest much into her. As you could see from the Gear section, she only has Legendary pieces at 30, and that is my overall recommendation, until you get the rest of your team strong enough, to get it to Auto. If your CP is anywhere below 1.5 Million, leave her at that and focus on your other Heroes.

Thank you so much for tuning in to another Quick Cuts episode.

I hope you enjoyed it and if so, consider subscribing as it helps a lot.

Leave a like on the video and let me know in the comments, if there is a Hero you want to see featured.

As always always, it was a pleasure to have you and I will see you in the next one.

Until then, enjoy the Grind.
