FC Lepin, the Cleric

Yo guys, what's good?

Az here, and today we are playing with FC Lepin, the Cleric.

FC Lepin is a Legendary Frost Hero with magical Attack type in the Support position.

Skills

Passive: First Aid 3, granting a heal of 100% Attack to an ally when they drop below 20% HP.

She will gain 1 Mana when her health drops below 20%, when triggered.

Additionally, if her Health is above 70% when triggered, she will gain 1 Mana.

Only of the Mana effects can occur per turn.

She is a Shelter Investigator, increasing damage on Monomos by 200%.

She shares these with the regular Lepin, with the difference that Lepin only has First Aid 2, removing the avove 70% HP mana gain.

Her FC Passive is Harbinger of Awakening.

If an ally gets killed, the Enemy will be Marked.

When attacked with the Harbinger of Awakening, the Mark is removed and Awakening skills of allies will be activated.

Her Awakening skill is Fairy Queen of Protection.

It will grant her a Buff, increasing her Block by 360 while in return decreasing her Critical hit by 180.

It has a Special component if her Health is below 30%, granting her Damage immunity for 4 turns and increasing her Attack Speed by 25.

S1: Deals 150% damage to a single Enemy and when the Skill hits, she grants a Heal over time to 1 allyhealing 10% of their Max HP for 4 turns.

In addition to that, she also cleanses debuffs and Damage over time effects from the ally which received Heal over Time. This skill costs 2 Mana.

S2: She is able to Heal all Allies by 13% of her max HP and cleansing all Damage over Time effects and debuffs from all Allies.

This ability also revives all dead members on the team.

It's a burst ability, increasing Damage and Heal for each additional Mana, when cast above 3 Mana. All additional Mana will be consumed.

Gear and Stats

Besides her Helmet, she has all Legendary pieces at lvl 30. Try to get the highest block chance you can for her.

Her FC provides a good amount of HP. Mine is already Fused once, so it's a little bit higher.

She is fairly slow like other supporters, so if you can, put better Attack Speed gear on her.

PVP

This week isn't Tag, where I usually bring her, but she is still good in regular Arena.

I took her into a fairly good match, my opponent being 2k points above me.

Yes, yes I know. Points mean little yada, yada. The player had fairly decent gear and even if he spams tickets, he would get knocked back into M3 if his defense was bad.

Strengths

She is the Frost type, which makes her a really nice choice for a Healer and Reviver.

The better gear you get, the better her Block becomes, thus increasing her Mana Gain.

When fighting PVP and also PVE, Mana Gain is one of the Major factors to differentiate between a Good and Excellent or could be the one thing preventing a Hero with a good kit, to become Used.

If you pair her with a good provoke Tank like Uloom or Degas, she will generate tons of Mana and thus always provide a safety net.

The current Meta is still dominated by one shot kills being preferred, and the AI usually trying to go for lower Health targets to Burst.

When you attack, the enemy will usually not focus fire a specific Hero, rather each role will simply attack what their parameters deem as good targets.

This makes her incredibly strong. With the Harbinger Mark, you can gain more Block if an ally is killed, which in turn accelerates your Mana generation.

As long as the enemy doesn't Wipe your team, you can come back and make their life and endless cycle of despair.

Weaknesses

I my opinion, it's the way her S1 works.

You can only target the Enemy and the healed Ally will be chosen by the AI. This means you can't spot heal a target you want.

This CAN however be manipulated, if you would go into Special Dungeons.

If you leave the required units at a low level, they usually die off first, you trigger Awakening and the heal will go to the alive ally.

However, this is more a gimmick, than something reliable.

Because we only have 4 revivers in the game and their stats being the same, aside from Cybele, she doesn't really have particular weaknesses.

Depending on the situation and team you are in she competes directly with Karin.

Karin has the higher Mana costs, but more reliable Mana gain.

Lepins Heals are on the lower spectrum, however she can use her abilities frequently while the enemies and allies are still at good HP status.

PVE

The above mentioned applies to PVE as well.

I have talked about her a fair bit during the Special Dungeon Series, which you should definitely check out.

She is one of the two healers in Frost, as well as the only revive making her the number one choice to bring into PVE.

Synergy

The Awakening FCs pair really well with each other, especially Shufraken or Rachel. While not being the most PVP oriented, if you have FC Shufraken, you can let most of your team die and Shufraken gains mana. Rachel would gain Crit.

After Shufraken or Rachel do their thing, you pick the rest of your team up.

Conclusion

Overall I think FC Lepin takes the crown for me in terms of Healers and Revivers, since I mostly focus on one-shot-ing targets.

Leaving the enemies at low health usually creates issues in PVP. So for PVP I definitely prefer bringing her over Karin.

In PVE I simply pair her with Degas and enjoy my easy battles.

Should you consider her for 6 staring?

If I would have a priority list from 1-5, 1 being the most important, she would be between a 2 and 3. It really depends what your roster is made of, but in the grand scheme I think she could be worth it.
