Yo guys, what's good?
Az here once again and today we are talking about the Core Raid Pass.
Let's get to it.
With the new Summer Festa Core Raid event we also got introduced to the Core Raid Pass.
Exos Pass and Core Raid Pass
It's very similar to the Exos pass, giving you resources for completing missions.
The free version allows you to snag some resources and is always appreciated.
After 30 Levels, you will be rewarded with a highly valuable item.
If you purchased the Premium pass you get another set of rewards and instead of an Exclusive Weapon as the final reward, you will be given a random Fate Core.
Cost
Both Premium passes for Exos Pass and Core Raid Pass can be purchased for 3000 Crystals or roughly 30USD.
In terms of value when compared to other items, as soon as you get the Holy Water of the Universe, you made your money back.
Pretty good value right from there.
But now you might ask, which one is better.
If you are on a budget, I would say the Exos Pass is the better value.
You get roughly double the resources and an Exclusive Weapon, which can be used on any Character.
The Core Raid pass would be something that I'd buy in addition, if the budget allows it.
Value
I made a spreadsheet, which shows the relative value of all items and compares it.
You can see all the math there, in case you wonder about the numbers I'm using from now on.
In terms of value, we are getting around 63% of the item value from the Core Raid Pass when compared to the Exos Pass.
This lets us put the cost at roughly 1800 Crystals.
The Exclusive weapon as well as the Fate Core are bonus items.
So without the fate Core, you would be getting 1200 Crystals, which translates to roughly 750 Xes value.
I would personally value the exclusive weapon at around that price.
Now we need to figure out what the Fate Core is worth.
Line Games values a pity for a black Fate Core at 13300 Xes.
Now the Fate Core we get is a random and given that most of the FCs are not that good or undesirable I would give it a 10% value of a black Fate Core.
This makes it worth around 1330 Xes. And it seems Line games seems to see it the same way.
If you remove the 750 Xes (1200 Crystals), we are left with 680 Xes, which coincides with the Exclusive Weapon.
Conclusion
This leaves me with the Exos Pass as well as the Core Raid Pass having roughly the same value. Both are excellent for the price and only the "Daily Xes for 1 Month" is beating that.
If the Exos Pass or the Core Raid Pass are better for you, can only be decided by yourself. But given that they have roughly the same value, it's a good choice either way.
